ENTRY FEE

$50 per player plus cart (No Lunch or Awards Ceremony.  Prizes will be announced via “From the Bunker” newsletter.)

Limited Field Event:  56 players/14 teams.  HOWEVER, IF BOTH COURSES ARE OPEN, IT WILL BE A FULL-FIELD 112 PLAYER/28 TEAM EVENT PULLED FROM THE WAITLIST. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Registration deadline is also the cancellation deadline.  No refunds will be issued for any cancellations or withdrawals after the registration deadline, 9/25/22.

FORETEES REGISTRATION:

Members register as a twosome and then the Tournament Committee will pair twosomes together to make 4-Man teams.

FORMAT:

4-Man MONEYBALL with Bonus Birdies                                             

Foursome event, with AT LEAST two net scores per hole.                                        

Each player plays out their own ball until holed, and for each hole the team counts AT LEAST two balls, as follows:                                          

   the MONEYBALL net, as assigned to a player for each hole,                                              

   the best net score of the other three balls,                                      

   the team will also count the third and even fourth ball net if they are net birdie or better                                       

The winner is the team with the lowest cumulative net score in relation to par while counting the MONEYBALL plus the next best ball, and these "Bonus Net Birdies" on each hole.                         

Players on each team will be assigned A, B, C & D designation based on relative indexes within each team.                                       

A & B players will be assigned five MONEYBALL holes (one par 3, one par 5 & three par 4s)                                               

C & D players will be assigned four MONEYBALL holes (one par 3, one par 5 & two par 4s)                                     

Hole assignment to each player will be based on the holes' handicap.

(the A player will be assigned the holes with the LOWEST associated hole handicap)     (the D player will be assigned the holes with the HIGHEST associated hole handicap)

PAIRINGS:

Members register as a twosome and then the Tournament Committee will pair twosomes together to make 4-Man teams.                              

FLIGHTS:

Flights based on total team handicaps.                                     

HANDICAP ADJUSTMENTS:

90% of each player’s Course Handicap.

PACE OF PLAY: As a courtesy to the field, please keep pace with the group in front of you.

WEATHER POLICY: Once all teams in the field have completed 9 holes it’s an official event with results computed by flight to the least number of holes completed by the last team out (at least 9) In each flight. 

GOLF GENIUS:

This event will utilize Golf Genius and the paper scorecard will be the official scorecard for each competitor.

SCORES POSTED TO GHIN:

Results of this event will be posted to GHIN through Golf Genius.  If you are out of the hole, you are required to record your most likely score for that hole.

WINNERS PAYOUT:                            

Approximately 25% of the field will earn a purse payout in pro shop credit.                                  

Purse by flight with a purse bonus to the event overall 1st & 2nd.                        

Flight purse amount based on the flight size.                              

Suncoast Marketing Player of the Year points based on flight standings with bonus for overall winners

Ties for MGA flight purse, PoY points, and overall 1st & 2nd will be SPLIT.                                  

MGA Hard Card and MGA By-Laws, Rules and Policies are in effect in all MGA events.
